Unit / Facility Details: Parking is on campus, so there is no shuttle schedule to worry about after an evening shift.
Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
For DC locations – You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (See JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure.
For MD Locations – You must have compact license or MD license.
Shift & Scheduling: D/E - Day shift is 0630-1900/ Evening shift is 1100-2330
On Call/Weekend Requirements: 6 calls per 6 week schedule, one weekend or holiday per 6 week schedule
Weekend Requirement: 2 per 13 week contract
Floating Requirement: If no hearts can float to general surgery
