An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 1+ year in LTC.
Unit Details:
- Role includes quality, infection, and education responsibilities.
- Provides short-term and long-term care.
- Patient ratios: Days 1:20; PM/Nights 1:38.
- Required to help out on the floor as needed.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Schedule flexibility may be needed.
- On-call every 3rd weekend.
- Every other holiday.
- Hours may be reduced during holidays when the unit is closed.
Floating Requirements:
- Back-up floor nursing coverage and may require some float on the unit. No cross-campus floating.
