Required Credentials:
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.

Unit Details:
Manages and provides overall operational and clinical nursing leadership to the inpatient Labor & Delivery and postpartum departments.
Plans and organizes inpatient nursing operations and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of patient care.
Establishes protocols and practices, ensuring compliance with department, operating unit, perinatal, organizational, Washington State Department of Health, and other applicable standards, policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
Identifies best practices, standardizes workflows/processes, and develops action plans to implement changes.
Reviews budgets in collaboration with the CNO to support effective utilization of personnel, resources, and supplies.
Develops and maintains partnerships with internal and external peers, leaders, and local/state/federal agencies to support initiatives and issue resolution.
Provides guidance and/or direct intervention in resolving challenging or complex situations.
This position will also be required to be a member of the core staffing to ensure safe and adequate staffing levels.
