Required Skills/Experience:
- Cardiac interventional cath experience required.
- Must have scrub experience for procedures and function independently as scrub nurse and circulator.
Required Credentials:
- ARRT certification required.
Preferred Credentials:
- Critical Care Course preferred.
Unit Details:
- Adult and geriatric patient population.
- Unit performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath, CTO and high-risk interventional cardiac cath, pacemaker implants including leadless, Watchman procedures, atrial and ventricular ablations, tilt tests, TEEs, PE thrombectomies, and vascular endovascular procedures.
- Role includes hemodynamic monitoring, conscious sedation, transvenous/temporary pacing, TAVR, and intra-aortic balloon pump, chest tube, and Impella support.
- Uses Philips imaging equipment.
Shift & Scheduling:
- On-call at least 1 weekday shift and 1 or more weekend shifts per month; participates in weekend, night, and holiday call. Must respond to STEMI callbacks in less than 30 minutes.
