An interview may not be available prior to offer.
ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Required Skills/Experience: strong IV skills required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: CVICU preferred.
Required Credentials: must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, traveler has 2 attempts. if failed, RN will be DNU within CS AZ and Sac Region for 6 months
Special Requests: Travel Teams must have their own vehicles
Shift & Scheduling:
4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, holidays based on unit coverage
Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule.
Holidays: Work into rotation.
Floating Requirements: Float to other ICUs and all Tele units. patient ratio of 4:1 on tele. Travelers will float 1st before perm staff. Also required to float to Westgate if asked.
