Required Skills/Experience:
- First-time travelers allowed if they have 2 years of experience.
- Open heart, robotics, vascular, and thoracic case experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Hybrid OR experience preferred.
Special Requests:
- Time off requests require approval.
Unit Details:
- CVT, cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and level 1 trauma patient population/cases.
- Support on the unit includes a charge nurse without a patient assignment usually, transport team, CRNA support, radiology, and OR leadership.
- Uses Alaris IV pump, Pyxis, Jackson Table, Wilson frame, and Davinci SI.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Mon-Fri.
- No weekend rotation.
- On-call: 12 call shifts per month.
- Holiday requirements: if it falls on a scheduled shift.
