Additional Details:
Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned Relias exams that must be taken immediately (within 48hrs). If you fail the exam twice, this may result in an immediate cancellation by the facility.
Required Skills/Experience: Float experience does not count toward the unit experience requirement.
Required Credentials: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) accepted from any issuing body.
Unit Details: Level 1 trauma center.
Floating Requirements: Float between ECU Medical Center, Beaufort, and Edgecombe. Beaufort Hospital is about 35 minutes from ECU Medical Center and Edgecombe Hospital is about 40 minutes from ECU Medical Center. Float assignment location is sent by email the day of shift at around 0400 or 1640. May float to all inpatient units at skill level and below: ICU - 1:2; Intermediate Care 1:4 - 1:6.
