Required Skills/Experience:

• Inpatient Dialysis experience
• First time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff RN experience in acute care
• Able to travel between facilities
• Dialysis (Braun machines)

Required Credentials:

• Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival
• Auto insurance

Shift & Scheduling:

• 4-12s one week and 3-12s next week – this is mandatory
• Schedule Cycle: 4 weeks
• Shift Times: Monday - Saturday
• Weekend rotation: every other – Fri/Sat/Sun is goal
• Call Requirement: 5-6 call shifts/schedule (12 hr shift) (4 week schedule); 12 hr shift and 12 hr call – done in same day; 3 people on call per night - based on facility being covered; Sunday call is the same on every schedule—1st Sunday is always 1st
• Holiday Expectations: Sunday before or after holidays, Minor holidays are regular days, Sunday is 24 hr call day, Will work 2/3 Holidays

Floating Requirements: Main campus for travelers will be WKMC (WK North), but they will float to other 3 facilities frequently
