Additional Information
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Cardiac and telemetry experience requested.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Gyn/Onc surgery experience preferred.
- Observation patient management preferred.
- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
- Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
- Community hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details:
- Observation unit caring for chest pain rule-out patients.
- Supports the ED when the house is full and patients are being held.
- Many patients are cardiac.
- Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend; 4-6 weekend shifts in 8 weeks.
Floating Requirements:
- Float between all MedSurg units, including ED overflow and an Observation Unit; may float to Psych as well.
