Required Skills/Experience:
- Must have experience in home care (traveling to patient homes and providing care).
- Acute Facilities: Minimum two (2) years Med/Surg experience in a large acute care hospital setting. The most recent experience should be within the past year.
- Post Acute Facilities: Minimum two (2) years Med/Surg experience in either Post Acute Facility or acute care hospital setting. The most recent experience should be within the past year.
- Wound care & Infection control
- IV therapy.
- Post-operative care.
- Patient education.
- Telemetry monitoring.
Required Credentials: Must have NYS Nursing License Registration and NYS Copy of Physical License/Diploma for submission.
Unit/Facility Details: This is for the Bronx Borough.
Special Requests: All time off and special requests should be discussed directly with managers upon arrival (no pre-approval).
Shift & Scheduling:
- Clinicians must start assignments within 30 days of receiving an offer.
- Overtime not allowed at NYCHH facilities (requires written manager approval in rare cases).
- Every other weekend coverage is required.

Individual Professional Liability coverage is mandatory for assignment duration (Only individual malpractice insurance is accepted by the facility).
