Preferred Skills/Experience: Emergency room experience recommended.
Unit Details: Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric ICU/CCU population. Cares for surgical patients and patients with serious respiratory and/or cardiac conditions. After-hour PACU recovery. Ratio 1:2 depending on acuity; if caring for 2 patients and one is on a ventilator, a second nurse will be called in.
Shift & Scheduling: Must be open to work any shifts; 80 hours every 2 weeks. Unit orientation includes 1-2 day shifts with the nurse manager and 1-2 night shifts with a staff RN.
Floating Requirements: Float to OB, MS, PACU, and ER to assist according to individual competency level.
