Required Skills/Experience:
2 years of continuous MICU experience required.
2+ years of continuous work experience in one location required.
Telemetry competency, including the ability to read telemetry strips, is required.

Unit Details:
Adult patient population includes diagnoses such as substance abuse/overdose, severe psychiatric conditions, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock.

Floating Requirements:
Floating is required, mostly to Medical/Surgical units; when floated, patient assignments may be up to 4 or 5 patients (1:4 or 1:5).

Shift & Scheduling:
Shifts may include days, evenings, and nights.
Every other weekend is part of the schedule.
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
All day positions are day rotate; day rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) shifts when needed. Night shift does not rotate.
