Additional Details:
RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- If less than 2 years, Level I experience is required.
- Must have experience in a 20+ bed ICU.
- Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required.
- Competent caring for patients on CRRT via NxStage.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 1.5 years MICU experience preferred.
- Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
- CRRT experience, Swanz, inhaled and IV Flolan, CVVHD, proning, Prismaflex (during Covid only), and Rapid Infuser/MTP-Level 1 Rapid Transfuser preferred.
Special Requests:
- No medical marijuana cards accepted.
- Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility.
Unit Details:
- Adult Medical ICU patient population.
- Pressor support, ETT, trachs, feeding tubes, chest tubes, wound care, sterile technique including line insertion, paracentesis, bedside trach placement, bronchoscopy, phlebotomy, and esophageal manometry.
Shift & Scheduling:
- BJC policy: Every other weekend required.
- Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
- No call.
- No more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract.
Floating Requirements:
- Possible float to MS areas within ICU service line or any ICU with needs.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
