Additional Details:

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• If less than 2 years, Level I experience is required.
• Must have experience in a 20+ bed ICU.
• Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required.
• Competent caring for patients on CRRT via NxStage.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 1.5 years MICU experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
• CRRT experience, Swanz, inhaled and IV Flolan, CVVHD, proning, Prismaflex (during Covid only), and Rapid Infuser/MTP-Level 1 Rapid Transfuser preferred.

Special Requests:

• No medical marijuana cards accepted.
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility.

Unit Details:

• Adult Medical ICU patient population.
• Pressor support, ETT, trachs, feeding tubes, chest tubes, wound care, sterile technique including line insertion, paracentesis, bedside trach placement, bronchoscopy, phlebotomy, and esophageal manometry.

Shift & Scheduling:

• BJC policy: Every other weekend required.
• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
• No call.
• No more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract.

Floating Requirements:

• Possible float to MS areas within ICU service line or any ICU with needs.
