Additional Details:
Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
For units that auto offer : A maximum of 5 days RTO and no holidays will be approved automatically. RTO over 5 days and holiday requests will have to be reviewed by the facility, which will delay the process.
Required Skills/Experience: Cornell requires experience at a large academic setting (teaching hospital)
Unit/Facility Details: -Unit: ICU/PCU float
Shift & Scheduling:
- 3-4-3-4 schedule -Start Dates: Weekly start dates 4-6 weeks on average needed to complete compliance -Call requirement: None
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Float requirement: Yes to areas within acuity
