Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience with adult inpatient and outpatient general/body IR patient types.
- Circulate, sedate, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Comfortable pulling lines.
Unit Details:
- Adults only, inpatient and outpatient general/body IR. Procedures include peripheral diagnostic and intervention, thrombolysis, chest tubes, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, paracentesis/thoracentesis, CT/RFA ablations, g-tube placement and exchanges, PICC placement, tunneled dialysis catheter, temporary dialysis catheter, nephrostomy tubes/nephroureteral stents, dialysis grafts, drain placements, biopsies, TIPs, Y90s, and chemo/coil embolizations. No Neuro IR.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Mon-Fri. Weekend rotation: call only.
- On-call 10-11 call shifts per month, including 2 weekends per month (F/Sa/Su); 1630-0800 for weekdays; weekend is 1630 Friday – 0800 Monday; 30-minute response time; three person call team: 1 nurse, 1 tech, 1 nurse or tech. No sleep rooms.
- Closed on holidays, just call team. 1-2 holidays of call per contract.
Floating Requirements:
- Could float to Cath Lab to assist if trained and comfortable.
