Unit Details: Charge nurse role providing general nursing care to long term care residents and directly supervising nursing assistants. Functions as the primary contact person on the assigned shift. Responsibilities include resident assessments, care planning, coordinating outside physician visits, administering routine and emergency medications and treatments, and IV therapy including initiating IVs, initial medication administration, and management of central lines and catheters.
Shift & Scheduling: Varied day and evening shifts. Holidays as required.
