Additional Details:
You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias and telemetry.
- Post-surgical unit experience caring for post-surgical patients.
Special Requests:
- RTO <5 days or add time to end of the contract.
Unit Details:
- 1:6 ratio (1:4 if cardiac drip).
- Adult and geriatric patient population.
- Cares for diabetes, renal insufficiency, some overnight ortho, vascular insufficiency, wound, and post-surgical patients; backup for the stroke unit.
- Uses Alaris pumps and Vital Sync monitors.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Alternating 3x12s and 4x12s every other week, or straight 4x12s.
- Every other weekend.
- No call.
- Work at least 2 of 3 holidays.
