Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years or 3 years of Tele.
- Telemetry, post-op cath care, cardiac drips with titration, management of dysrhythmias, interpretation of dysrhythmias.
Unit Details:
- MS/Tele - Card/Pulm unit.
- Common diagnosis/treatment: stroke, CHF, A-fib, arrhythmias, cardiac caths/stents and med-surg.
- Equipment includes Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, ceiling Hoyer lift, portable Hoyer lift, portable cardiac monitoring, defib x2 when transporting, and EKG machine.
- Uses Omnicell.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend required.
- Call requirements: None.
Floating Requirements:
- Yes, all except M3; helping hands in ER.
