Preferred Credentials: Trauma course preferred.
Unit Details: The Neuro ICU cares for patients with severe brain injuries, stroke, brain tumors, and patients who are post-op from neurosurgical procedures. Providers specialize in post-operative neurosurgical care for neurologically complex patients, including those with stroke, brain tumors, and nerve and muscle diseases, and must interface between the brain and other vital organ systems.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating 7A/7P shifts. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. 3 of 6 weekends. On-call: 2 per 6-week schedule. Holidays as needed.
Floating Requirements: Float as needed to areas of like skill set, ICU, or IMC.
