Additional Information
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS
Required Skills/Experience: Greater than 2 years of experience if at least 1 year is in Level I trauma. Circulate required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Scrub preferred.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Core 3 & 4 cases include general, plastic, GYN, ENT, trauma, neuro and ortho, GU, and colorectal robotics.
Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. Call required: 6 call shifts in a 6 week period- can vary. Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
Floating Requirements: OR RNs need to be well rounded and current in most areas except CV & Transplant as they will be floated where needed.
