Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Special Requests:
Must take full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location.
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
If previously employed by Marshfield, the employment must have ended 6 months before submission.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must have experience with general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, urology, podiatry, cardiology (including pacemakers and lead revisions), Pre-surgery, and PACU.
Unit Details:
Approximately 9 cases per day.
Common cases include general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, urology, podiatry, and cardiology, including pacemakers and lead revisions.
Shift & Scheduling:
Shift start times may vary between 0545 and 0900, with end times between 1345 and 1700.
The manager builds the schedule.
Call is rotated through trained RNs, approximately 5 days per month with 7 nurses; this can vary slightly due to PTO.
Weekday call runs from 1430 to 0630.
Weekend call runs from 1430 on Friday until 0630 on Monday.
Agency RNs are expected to participate in the holiday call rotation.
Must be available to cover shifts and call during the holiday season 12/24/2026-1/4/2027.
Must be ready to make an incision within 30 minutes or less for STAT cases.
Floating Requirements:
RNs also cover Pre-surgery/PATT and PACU.
