Required Skills/Experience:
- First-time travelers not accepted.
- Experience circulating in trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine, hearts, MI vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, robotics, general, HPB, bariatrics, urology, ENT, eyes, pain, and plastics cases required.
- Charge RN experience and scrubbing proficiency required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Helpful if able to perform laparoscopic and open belly cases, ortho trauma, cysto, and vascular; robotics is a plus.
- Candidates comfortable with some of these cases may be considered case by case.
Special Requests:
- RTO requires manager approval.
Unit Details:
- Surgery specialties include trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine, hearts, MI vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, robotics, general, HPB, bariatrics, urology, ENT, eyes, pain, and plastics.
- Free Parking
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every 4th weekend.
- Weekend coverage could be call or a scheduled shift depending on need.
- Scheduled weekend shifts are typically 7a-7p.
- Call required: average of 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule.
- 45-minute response time.
- Call shifts may be 11p-7a or 7a-7p/7p-7a on weekends.
- Travelers will work 75% of holidays.
- Schedule cycle is every 6 weeks.
