Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- 1 or more-year experience in surgery including case mix listed below.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Greater than 1-year experience, ambulatory surgery.
Unit Details:
- Patient ratios: 1:1 in OR; perianesthesia depends on acuity.
- Uses Stryker, Steris, Smith & Nephew, and Surginet.
- Case types include ophthalmology, ortho/sports medicine, hand/foot/ankle, GYN/urology, plastics, general, and pediatrics.
- Typical procedures include cataracts, retina procedures, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, hand/foot/ankle procedures, gallbladder and hernia surgery, breast procedures, cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, pediatric dental, pediatric ortho and general procedures, breast reconstruction, some cosmetic procedures, hysteroscopy, and D&C.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Shift: 10:45AM-9:15PM.
- Late call 2x per week: C1 stays until the last case is completed; C2 is backup to C1.
Floating Requirements:
- MOR/VOR/Endo at Main Campus.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
