Preferred Skills/Experience:
Orthopedic experience preferred.
Scrubbing is preferred but not required for RNs.
Unit Details:
Average case volume is 30-35 cases per day.
Common cases include 65% orthopedic cases, ranging from hangnail to several joints, as well as orthoscopy, plastics, ENT, and some general surgery. Neuro cases are limited to disc surgery; there are no urology, vascular, gynecology, or ophthalmology cases.
Robotic surgery is not performed.
One surgeon can have 2 rooms.
Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule runs Monday-Friday with a rotating late schedule.
Shifts start at 07:00 or 07:30.
