Required Skills/Experience: 1 to 2 years experience required. Work settings: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown. Cardiac monitoring and emergency response: interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry on-unit monitoring. Cardiovascular: pre/post cardiac cath. Experience with sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, renal failure, AFIB, GIB, stroke, and COVID.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Cardiovascular: sheath removal. Gastrointestinal: feeding tube care and management. IV therapy/phlebotomy: accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management.

Required Credentials: Missouri licensure is required, in addition to Kansas licensure. To apply, you must have a Missouri license and be in the process of applying for a Kansas license, or you must have compact licensure.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Charge RN assignments as needed per unit. Uses virtual nurses, 12 lead EKG, AirVo, Voalte, and Omnicell.

Shift & Scheduling: Holiday shifts as needed per unit. 8 weekend shifts in Saint Luke's 6-week schedule period, combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday. No call. RTO: No more than 7 days.

Special Requests: If requesting 7 days of RTO, the expectation is that the missed time is made up.

Floating Requirements: Float pool position; will not be assigned a home unit. Will float within scope between roughly 5 units, all Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU departments, and to other metro campuses as needed.
