Unit Details: Primary care pediatrics role responsible for helping with nurse visits, medication administration, sick visits, and patient telephone calls. Assists with updating letters of medical necessity, medication refills, result notification, and post-hospital follow-up visit scheduling. Specific skills include vaccine administration, venipuncture, nebulizer treatments, and medication administration. Uses nebulizer, Dinamap, thermometer, manual BP, oxygen tank, nasal cannula, and oxygen mask. Approx. 50-100 patients/day.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday off; Tuesday, Thursday: 10:30-7pm, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30-5, Saturday 7:30-3. No call.
Floating Requirements: Will float between the clinic next to Temple Main (3223 N Broad Street) and Temple Women & Families Hospital, 1331 East Wyoming Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19124, depending on needs.
