You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers allowed if 3 years of experience in a high-acuity hospital. Candidates with strong Level II experience may be considered. Strong Pediatric ICU experience and at least 1 year of CV experience required. CV ICU, cardiac step-down, or general cardiac experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
Unit Details: Neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population. Mixed CVPICU/PICU caring for critically ill or injured children with medical and surgical conditions including cardiac, respiratory, neuro/neurosurgical, trauma, transplant, pulmonary disease, cardiac anomalies, multisystem organ failure, and ECMO. Includes 4 satellite ICU beds on the general care floor.
Shift & Scheduling: Day/night 12-hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am, depending on unit needs. Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required.
Floating Requirements: May float out to NICU and general care.
