Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers allowed if 3 years of experience in a high-acuity hospital. Can consider candidates with extensive level II experience at a high-acuity hospital. Strong Pediatric ICU experience and at least 1 year of CV experience required. CV ICU, cardiac step down, or general cardiac experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred. CV experience preferred over level I trauma experience.
Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population. Family-centered care for critically ill or injured children and their families. Mixed CVPICU/PICU unit caring for medical and surgical patients with cardiac, respiratory, neuro/neurosurgical, trauma, transplant (heart, liver, kidney), multisystem organ failure, and ECMO needs. Includes ICU satellite beds on the general care floor.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required.
Floating Requirements: May float out to NICU and general care.
