Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- First-time travelers allowed if 3 YOE in high acuity hospital.
- Can consider candidates with strong Level II experience at a high acuity hospital.
- Strong Pediatric ICU experience and at least 1 year of CV experience required.
- CV ICU, cardiac step-down, or general cardiac experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Required Credentials:
- Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
Unit Details:
- Neonate, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population.
- Mixed CVPICU and PICU assignment providing family-centered care to critically ill or injured children with medical and surgical problems, including acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multisystem organ failure, and ECMO.
- Cardiac, respiratory, neuro/neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients, including heart, liver, and kidney transplants.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Day/night 12-hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am depending on unit needs. Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required.
Floating Requirements:
- May float out to NICU and general care.
