    Additional Details:

    Required Skills/Experience: Float experience does not count toward the unit experience requirement. Triage experience.

    Unit Details: Common diagnoses/treatments: Asthma, DKA, neonate with fever, sickle cell disease. Special procedures/skills: moderate sedations; breathing treatments; chest tube set-up/care; CPAP/BiPap; home vents; high frequency vents; procedure sedation; RSI - Rapid Sequence Intubation drugs; trach care; vents; blood/blood products administration; cardioversion/defibrillation; cooling/warming blanket; CVP; 12 Lead EKG interpretation; rapid transfusions. Lines/equipment: drains; triple lumen catheter; Port-A-Cath/vascular device access/care; PICC/central lines; PCA pumps; feeding tubes. Patient populations/case mix: burns; cardiac; medical; neuro; PICU; surgical; transplant; trauma; general; hematology/oncology; ortho.

    Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and rotating holidays. No call.
