You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Tdap declinations are not accepted at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience with pediatric patients is required.
- Experience recovering ortho, neuro, general, urology, dental (adults and peds), GYN, and pediatric ENT (T & A, BMT, etc.) patients.
- Should have experience monitoring patients with nerve blocks, chest tube insertions, central lines, intubation, and A-lines.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 2 years of experience preferred.
- Critical care experience strongly preferred.
Unit Details:
- Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population; ages 8 months old to 100+ years old.
- All surgeries except hearts.
- Heavy volume of ortho, general, GYN, neuro, and urology.
- Strong pediatric volume including ENT, dental, and ortho.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Monday to Friday.
- Call required: 6-8 days per month (varies); self-scheduled.
- Minimum of 1 weekend shift per contract.
Floating Requirements:
- Must help with coverage in Pre-Op Holding; nurses float between connected Pre-Op Holding and PACU as needed. No floating to other departments.
