Required Skills/Experience:
- Recent adult intensive experience in the last 3 months.
- 5 years of experience as an RN required (inpatient psych experience must be within the last 3 months; LTC will not be accepted).
Special Requests:
- RTO will not be approved in the first 2 weeks during orientation and cannot exceed 7 days.
- RTO blackout dates: 6/22-7/7; 8/10-8/14; 8/31-9/4; 9/5-9/8; 11/2-11/6; 11/30-12/4; 11/25-11/30; 12/23-12/27; 12/31-1/1/27.
- Travelers will be required to make up any missed shifts prior to contract ending.
Unit Details:
- Adult forensic/intensive secure inpatient psychiatric unit.
- Cares for high-needs adults with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders.
- Provides medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and recovery-focused treatment.
- Works with the multidisciplinary team and provides clinical supervision of MHWs.
- May be scheduled to take charge shifts.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
- Possible call.
- Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
