Additional Details:
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any)
Required Skills/Experience: IMCU/Step Down RN experience required; Telemetry-only RN experience is not sufficient. Experience caring for trach and ventilator patients, critical care drips/titrated infusions, and complex cardiac and respiratory patients.
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Intermediate care/step-down level patients with complex cardiac and respiratory conditions. Patients transitioning from critical care until stable for med-surg. Transfer patients from outside facilities who may be critical care at those facilities but do not need actual critical care at this facility. ED patients who are on the fence between critical care and step-down.
Shift & Scheduling: No on-call required. Every other weekend. Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.
Floating Requirements: May float to other units based on skill set and to Providence facilities including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent. If floating consecutive shifts to Seaside, a hotel is offered. Facility agrees to give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
