Required Skills/Experience:
- First-time travelers not accepted. Previous ICU travel experience required.
- Required Skills: Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Genitourinary/Renal, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, IV therapy, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Neurological, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drain (EVD), ICP monitoring, Post Craniotomy, Post Neurosurgery management, Respiratory/Thoracic, Assist with management of BiPAP, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Medications, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Professional Topics and Skills, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
Required Credentials:
- AHA and Red Cross only; RQI cards are not accepted.
Special Requests:
- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Will work every other weekend.
- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Floating Requirements:
- Will float to other units within scope as needed, primarily to other ICUs.
- Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, CVVHD/CRRT, Accessing/Managing Ports, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, Lumbar drains, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Ventilator Management
- Previous Charge Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience
Details:
