You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Clinicians who live within 51-75 miles from the facility will be considered local.

Required Skills/Experience:
General ICU experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests:
Must fulfill the full 13-week contract.
RTO is not granted for holidays, but the facility will work with the traveler to choose which holidays to work to meet the 50% requirement.

Unit Details:
Adult patient population, with an all-ages range and no pediatric trauma ICU cases.
Patient population includes Level 1 trauma surgical ICU cases such as motor vehicle collisions, falls from standing, falls from height, gunshot wounds, penetrating trauma, burns, necrotizing fasciitis, sepsis, multisystem organ failure, ARDS, perforated bowel, AAA repair, carotid endarterectomy, and fem-pop bypass.
Unit details include mass transfusion protocol, chemical paralytics, SLED/CRRT, and extensive wound care.
Core staff take fresh trauma; there are no pediatric trauma cases.

Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Must be able to take call.
Must be available to work assigned weekends.
Must be able to work at least 50% of the holidays that occur during the contract.
Rotating shifts, holiday work, and work during inclement weather will be required.

Floating Requirements:
Floats outside of ICU to Adult MS Cluster (1:4 ratio).
