Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations. Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.
Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles; candidates must have at least 6 months of employment separation to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match the address on driver's license.
Unit Details: General surgical adult population with telemetry capability. Supported by PCTs and a health care unit coordinator. Virtual sitter monitoring is available, along with monitor techs for telemetry.
Shift & Scheduling: Up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period and holidays if the department has a need.
