Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Telemetry competency
- Must be able to manage 6-7 patients depending on the shift.
- Urology and bowel experience (that’s our two biggest patient populations)
Special Requests:
- Typical unit procedures and patient care include TPN, PCA, wound vacs, tube feeds, PEG tubes, dobhoffs, NG tubes, colostomies and urostomies, drains (biliary, JP, nephrostomy, urinary catheters, CBI), heparin drips, IV antibiotics, cholecystectomies, appendectomies, podiatry, bowel resections, plastics, urology surgeries and nephrectomies, hysterectomies, mastectomies, oral/maxillary procedures, thyroidectomies, and hernia repairs.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Floating Requirements:
- Other med-surg areas
