Required Skills/Experience:
2 years of stepdown experience required.
Special Requests:
Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details:
Common diagnoses and patient types include ETOH, DKA, heart failure, sepsis, stroke, GI surgery, GU surgery, and joint replacements.
RNs are required to titrate drips.
Common titratable or set-rate drips include insulin, heparin, amiodarone, and Cardizem.
Monitor technicians are available, but RNs must read their own strips; the unit uses GE monitors.
Equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
No call.
Floating Requirements:
This float pool position requires floating to Med-Surg and Tele.
