Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Current IV experience.
- Must be proficient in peripheral line placement for children and newborns within 6 months.
- Must be proficient in PICC placement within 1 year.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with insertion of PICC (Peripherally inserted Central lines) and ultrasound guided PIVs preferred.
Required Credentials:
- Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned a Basic Arrhythmia exam and a Pharmacology exam. If you fail the exams twice, this will result in an immediate cancellation by the facility.
Unit Details:
- Vascular access care includes venipuncture, midlines, and PICC lines.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Flexible contract hours: 32 or 40 per week.
- Every other weekend.
- Rotating holidays.
- 0730-1600 or 0800-1630.
