    Additional Information

    Required Skills/Experience: Med/Surg skillset: head-to-toe assessment; orthopedic care knowledge; IV medication administration including management of Lasix drip, heparin drip, IVP metoprolol, diltiazem, and insulin IV or subQ; wound care including drain management and vacs; NGT/G-tube care and parenteral nutrition; central line management (PICC/HD catheter/midlines); foley/nephrostomy/suprapubic catheter care; ostomy care; postoperative patient care.

    Unit Details: Med Surg/Tele/Urology unit. Patient ratios: 1:5 days; 1:6 nights. 1 unit secretary 7a-11p; PCT ratio 1:10-15, typically 3 working on a typical shift; occasional 1:1 coverage with PCT or patient safety tech. Uses Hoyer lift, automated BP machines, bladder scanner, remote telemetry monitoring, and vein finder. Procedures performed on unit: NGT.

    Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

    Floating Requirements: Floats to like MST units (D1, F2); float pool then travelers generally float first.

    • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
