An interview may not be available prior to offer. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: At least 1 year in Endo, ERCP experience is a must. Minimum of one year of telemetry.
Preferred Skills/Experience: One year of critical care preferred.
Required Credentials: Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam required during onboarding; pass/fail with two attempts. Dignity Health procedure sedation class required.
Special Requests: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: 8-15 procedures/day. Endo techs assist with room turnover. Uses Phillips telemetry. Common procedures/patient population include polypectomy, foreign body, colonoscopy, endoscopy, EGD with dilation, and Barrett's esophagus treatment.
Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. Varied start between 0630-0900; will be scheduled 4 weeks in advance with start time. On-call coverage is M-F 1730 - 0630 and 24 hours on weekends/holidays; at minimum two weekend/month and six M-F night calls. One call holiday during contract.
Floating Requirements: First to float to the pre/post-surgical inpatient area.
