    Additional Details:

    Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

    Required Skills/Experience: Must have 1 year of endoscopy experience. Must have inpatient hospital endoscopy experience. Must be comfortable with sedation including pushing propofol.

    Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric experience preferred; may be asked to work with pediatric patients. Scrub experience is a plus but not required.

    Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. The facility may make one-off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System.

    Unit Details: Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics. Common cases include EGD, colonoscopy, foreign bodies, impactions, ERCPs with stent placement or removal, pancreatic biopsy, lung biopsy, and SpyGlass procedures; will work in collaboration with IR for some cases. RNs administer moderate sedation and propofol; CRNAs and anesthesia support general anesthesia and MAC. Uses Epic.

    Shift & Scheduling: Start time between 7-8 AM. M-F. Weeknight call: 1 night per week, from end of shift to beginning of shift the next day. Weekend call: none. May be asked to go into holiday call rotation. Call response time: 30 mins.

    Floating Requirements: RNs are expected to float between Pre-op, Intra Op, and Post Op/PACU in Endoscopy unit. Only General sedation patients stay for PACU. Not typical; could be asked to float to sister facilities in Nampa and Meridian in specialty or as a sitter; rarely happens.
