Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Thoracic and vascular experience to include heart and valve replacements.
- Strong skills in: Cardiac (CV/PV), AAA, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Fem-Pop Bypass, Mitral or Aortic Valve Replacement.
- Advanced general circulating knowledge to include positioning, prepping, and facilitating cases in the surgical areas above.
Unit Details:
- Circulating RN in general OR to include ortho, neuro, plastics, vascular, trauma, robotic OB-GYN, and urology cases.
- Surgical procedures in the following areas: general, trauma, ortho (trauma and elective joints/sports medicine), urology, GYN, XI robotic utilization, plastics, neuro (complex crani and spine services), cardio/thoracic dedicated staff.
- Equipment used on the unit: XI Robot, advanced spine, Mako joint robot.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with on-call.
- Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
- 3 call shifts (12 hr) every 4 weeks.
