Additional Details:
Required Credentials:
- Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam required during onboarding.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressins, as well as balloon pumps.
Special Requests:
- Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
- Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
- Travel pairs are not accepted.
Unit Details:
- Cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general interventional radiology, electrophysiology, and neuro intervention cases.
- RN performs conscious sedation. Scrubbing not required.
- Cath lab documentation is Merge; hospital EMR is Cerner.
- Cases are done with 2 techs: 1 scrubs and 1 monitors hemodynamics. Sometimes a fourth team member may be an RN or a tech depending on the case.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 4x10s or until cases are done. Start times vary between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM.
- On-call rotates 1x/week and 1 weekend/month. Weekend call runs from Friday evening through Monday morning and is subject to change based on unit needs.
Floating Requirements:
- First to float.
