Additional Details:
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must have experience with IABP and IVUS.
Special Requests:
- Can only apply to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system.
- Driver's license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years.
- Previous travelers who worked there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years.
- If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from that perm facility.
- Cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.
- At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to.
Unit Details:
- Interventional Cath Lab and IR role; RN is required to administer medications and perform circulator/monitor duties.
- Uses Cupid, Xper, Phillips telemetry, Omnicell, and Acist injector.
- 3-person Cath Lab team: 2 RNs and 1 tech.
- Adult cardiac cases including peripheral, cardiac cath, PCI, device cases, ICDs, and pacers; no EP or ablations.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 10-11 call shifts per month, including weekend and holiday rotation.
- Monday-Friday call 1530-0700; average 15 days per month, though call days may decrease as permanent staff are added.
- Weekend requirement: Sat/Sun 0700-0700.
- Holidays covered by 7-7 call.
Floating Requirements:
- Could be floated to Non-Invasive CV at times to start IVs.
