Required Skills/Experience:
Must be proficient in all open-heart cases, valves, bypass, and related cases.
Must be comfortable circulating all vascular cases, including hybrid cases ranging from carotids to fem-fem bypass and triple-A cases.
Must be comfortable setting up all lines and drips that anesthesia needs assistance with.
Triage is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Community hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests:
RTO is limited during the holiday.
All RTO should be discussed during interview and must be included at time of submission.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatric patients, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Shift & Scheduling:
Rotating weekday night and weekend call is required.
Call weekends include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
One day of call during the week is required.
Call is required every 4th–5th weekend.
Call required: Varies by specialty.
CVOR nurses back up general nurses on call and vice versa.
Holiday rotation is required.
Work every other weekend is required.

Floating Requirements:
Float to other perioperative areas when not assigned to CVOR.
