You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
- Strong CVOR background is needed across all specialties – ability to work independently with minimal guidance in the following cases: CABG, TAVR, Valve replacements, Thoracic cases are robotic (lobectomy, hernia repair), Generator exchanges, Lead extractions, Heart transplants, Fem-pop Bypass.
- Level 1 or 2 trauma experience
Required Credentials: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing. NURSYS.
Special Requests: Approval of time off? Reach out to Manager for approval.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 8 or 10 hr. shifts – TBD during interview
- Weekend rotation: on call only
- Will they be on call? Yes – one overnight per week 7p-7a and every 3rd weekend.
- Ideally, 1-2 days/week (1500-0700); 1 weekend every 3rd Fri 1500-0700 Monday). This is subject to change as needs of the department change
- Holiday Expectations: potential to work every holiday
Floating Requirements: May float to Main OR and Central Sterile Processing
