Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the trauma level designation (if any). Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN, and CNAs.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Inpatient Care Management Experience (minimum of 3 years).
- Behavioral experience does not count.
Required Credentials:
- Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests:
- First-time travelers not accepted.
- RTO must be listed at time of submission.
- All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
- Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - must have left in good status if a former employee.
Unit Details:
- Adult patient population.
- Inpatient care management and discharge planning.
Shift & Scheduling:
- No call.
- Every other weekend.
- Variable schedule used to balance schedules to support summer vacations/time off and PTO utilization.
Floating Requirements:
- Float between units per unit needs.
- Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
- May float to other units and facilities based on skill set and unit needs, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent.
- If booked to a non-Seaside facility and floated to Seaside for consecutive shifts, a hotel will be offered.
- Facility will give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
