• No block schedule requests, 48 hour can be considered but not guaranteed.

Unit Details:

• Blended ICU.
• Adult and geriatric patient population.
• Uses Baxter pumps.
• Common diagnoses/treatments: STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A-fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Call required.

Floating Requirements:

• Float to Intermediate Care Unit (as primary RN) and ED holding for admitted patients holding in the ED on an as-needed basis.
