Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
2 years or 3 years of Tele experience.
Post-op cath care.
Cardiac drips with titration.
Management of dysrhythmias.
Interpretation of dysrhythmias.
Unit Details:
Equipment includes Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, a ceiling Hoyer lift, a portable Hoyer lift, portable cardiac monitoring, defibrillators x2 when transporting, and an EKG machine.
Uses Omnicell.
Common diagnoses and treatments include stroke, CHF, A-fib, arrhythmias, cardiac caths/stents, and med-surg care.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend required.
No call.
Floating Requirements:
Floats to all units except M3 and provides helping-hands support in the ER.
