    Additional Information

    References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

    All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

    You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

    Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry.

    Preferred Skills/Experience: Conscious sedation.

    Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.

    Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.

    Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cares for post open heart surgeries, vascular surgeries, post MI patients requiring TTM and/or pressors, cardiogenic shock patients with or without devices including IABP, impellas, VAD, CRRT, patients requiring ECLS for cardiac and respiratory failure, and general ICU overflow patients including those with pneumonia, COVID, DKA, and OD. Expected ratios: 1:1 & 1:2.

    Shift & Scheduling: No call required. Every other weekend. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

    Floating Requirements: Floating required if over staff.

    Details:

    • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
