Required Skills/Experience:
- Previous Med/Surg experience.
Required Credentials:
- Required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
- RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele, PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
Special Requests:
- Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year.
- Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
- RTO needed upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after submission.
- Will consider blocked schedule.
- Holidays as needed if they fall in the blocked schedule.
Unit Details:
- Trauma Level IV, STEMI-receiving, stroke-designated ER.
- ER holds are intermixed within the ER, and there are separate psych/seclusion rooms.
- No respiratory therapy coverage in the ER.
- No tele/monitor techs; RNs are required to read their own strips.
- Tele monitors: Mindray.
- Charge nurse is present each shift and takes an assignment.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Day/night rotate: 7 AM-7 PM and 7 PM-7 AM.
- Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements:
- Float to Med/Surg and Swing Bed on the same unit.
