    Additional Details:

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Previous Med/Surg experience.

    Required Credentials:

    • Required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
    • RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele, PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.

    Special Requests:

    • Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year.
    • Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
    • RTO needed upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after submission.
    • Will consider blocked schedule.
    • Holidays as needed if they fall in the blocked schedule.

    Unit Details:

    • Trauma Level IV, STEMI-receiving, stroke-designated ER.
    • ER holds are intermixed within the ER, and there are separate psych/seclusion rooms.
    • No respiratory therapy coverage in the ER.
    • No tele/monitor techs; RNs are required to read their own strips.
    • Tele monitors: Mindray.
    • Charge nurse is present each shift and takes an assignment.

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • Day/night rotate: 7 AM-7 PM and 7 PM-7 AM.
    • Every other weekend.

    Floating Requirements:

    • Float to Med/Surg and Swing Bed on the same unit.
