Additional Details:
Lab Completion:
- All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience:
- IV therapy (blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs); IV vasopressors.
- CPAP/BiPAP; ventilator management.
- CVA (stroke), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI.
- Cardiac monitoring (interpretation and management of dysrhythmias).
- Emergency care (adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, ortho trauma).
- Isolation precautions; triage; pediatric spinal cord injury.
Special Requests:
- RTO and special scheduling requests must be submitted upon submission.
- RNs within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted.
Unit Details:
- Adult and geriatric emergency patient population; all emergency diagnoses.
- Dedicated pediatric ED, crisis intervention unit, and trauma suite for stabilization of critical patients.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
- Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed.
Floating Requirements:
- Will be required to float within skillset.
