Required Skills/Experience:
- Special requirements: 2 years is a hardstop requirement.
- BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Isolation Precautions/PPE, Triage, IV vasopressors, Level II Trauma Center, Stroke Certified Facility, Management of dysrhythmias.
- Community Hospital Experience
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Previous Charge Experience
- Teaching Hospital Experience
- LTAC Experience:
Required Credentials:
- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
- Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests:
- RTO must be listed at time of submission. *Anything more than 7 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. To minimize turn around please limit total RTO requests.. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD) MUST request all RTO / specific scheduling requests up-front during submittal. Post submittal/offer RTO may not be considered or granted. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract and system DNR.
- All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
- Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request
Shift & Scheduling:
- No on-call required.
- 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks.
- 48 hours are not approved.
Floating Requirements: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
